Called the”Island of the Sponge divers,” Kalymnos has a lengthy history with ties into the ocean, but much to the delight of adrenaline junkies, things are changing for this tiny rocky island. Once only acceptable for grazing goats are the moneymakers of the island, jagged cliffs.
Sport climbers from all around the world are going to Kalymnos to carry on its topography. The tourism world has altered here entirely.
Kalymnos was named among the world’s greatest rock climbing locations, and it’s simple to see why by simply looking up at the limestone crags that cover the entire island.
