This November I am led for its largest traveling event in the Earth. There’ll be in. There’ll be traveling bloggers such as myself, tour companies, airlines, hotel groups, restaurant and tourism boards. It’s the chance to create connections for your future and to socialize with hundreds of people in the travel industry.
My trip’s principle intention would be to meet with tourism boards, hotel groups, airlines and traveling bloggers. Every day , I have over a dozen appointments to go over these companies with each about going to the destinations they signify. My goal is to line up the next decade of my travels. I have arranged, I will make use of my time between encounters introduce myself and to stroll through the conference.
I have also been invited to two special occasions – a networking event with also the Hostel Bookers Travel Bloggers Awards along with Traveling Bloggers Unite. Both events will be full of Travel Bloggers, and that’s what I have been looking forward to for a long time!
Here are some of my friends in the biz who I will be meeting up with: Marcello: Wandering Trader, David: GoBackpacking, Nellie: Wildjunket, Melvin: Travel Dudes, Ana: Mrs. O Round the World, along with Gary: Everything Everywhere.
I believed it’d be a great idea about World Travel Market is a occasion for each and each travel industry professional to make a documentary-style video show. The videos leading up to the trip will highlight my own preparations. The first video I created is branded”Why World Travel Market?” It explains the reasons why I am heading to London and also a little bit of information about myself to anybody who doesn’t know me already.
The few videos will be about putting my schedule together for World Travel Market. It is easy: I want to awaken about 2:15 a.m. to get into the office by 3 a.m. in order to get in contact with all those Asia/Middle East/Africa and Europe tourism workplaces. For many nations in Asia, 3 a.m. Eastern Standard is just 3 p.m. their time.
On scheduling my days, From the video , I take you about the best way best to put this 21, to my world. I see that the hardest part is that tourism boards do not speak English, which makes it hard to set up meetings with a number of the Asian nations.
I start piecing the program as you see. After a night of cold calling, I managed to program in WTM. Ever since then, I have completed more late night calls, which have proven to succeed.
Here’s the second video of my middle of the night calling, which was also a fantastic success!
What my program looks like right now (as of October 26th).
I will be following up and making a few more sleepy-eyed calls through the next few weeks.
There’ll be a few more videos about scheduling my encounters, and following that I ask that you follow along with me throughout my journey into London. I booked my apartment with Wimdu, which saved me a chance in comparison to getting a resort in this occasion. I’ll be receiving many tourism boards and traveling bloggers on cam to inform me a bit about themselves and why they have chosen to be in World Travel Market. I would like the show to reveal traveling professionals that this is the occasion to attend to make contacts.
As I make more of those videos, I’ll be submitting them. To get updates immediately please subscribe to my own Youtube Channel. I know this is going to be an occasion that carries my business to a new leadership for beyond and 2013 and changes my life.
Thanks for taking the time. Join me in my mission to overcome World Travel Market 2012!
